AMC’s The Walking Dead midseason premiere earns the numbers they deserve with over 12 million watching (add in another 4 million with their two encores that evening, delivering 16.6 million viewers for the night!). This tops their previous record and earns them the strongest telecast for a series in basic cable history for adults in the 18-49 age bracket. They beat out such popular shows including Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and NCIS.
